The Urban Dictionary gives the following meaning for the term TWONK.

Derogatory term, roughly equivalent to idiot. More insulting than berk, but less insulting that gimp .

I for one think that this is correct, however, it’s also a bit tame. There is another definition in the Urban Dictionary that states a TWONK ‘comes from the old school days of the 90s means a cross between a twat and a plonker.’

This for me is a bit nearer the mark, so a TWONK is an Idiot whose behavior places them somewhere between called a Twat or a Plonker, a TWONK.
