Get safe before you count it you TWONK
Earlier today we visited our local dry cleaners, the door was boarded up and
the counter had been damaged.
They explained how they had been burgled, the door had been smashed in and the
burglars had used a crowbar to open the till that had the next days float in
it, around £30 in value, all in coins.
The funny thing was that these burglars were complete TWONKS who had broken
into a Dry Cleaners that was across only across the road from the local police
station, so understandably, the Police were quick to react to the alarm.
When they got to the scene of the crime, the burglars had fled the scene with
the float. The decided to search the local area.
Walking around the corner from the dry cleaners they decided to ask in the local
take-away to see if anyone had noticed anything out of the ordinary.
On entering the take-away, they spotted a young man who was trying to change
around £30 in small change into notes.
Yes you’ve guessed it, it was the TWONK who had burgled the dry cleaners, not
100m form the scene of the crime before he wanted to count his ill gotten gains!
